Reaching Home is Canada’s national homelessness strategy, a Government of Canada program that supports communities in preventing and reducing homelessness.
Muslim Food Bank & Community Services is a community service provider delivering Reaching Home support directly to people who need it most. Our goal is to help individuals and families move from homelessness into safe, stable housing, and to help those at risk keep the homes they have.
We begin by listening and understanding your situation, your needs, and your housing preferences. From there, we guide you through your housing search, connect you with landlords, and support you as you settle in. If you’re at risk of losing your home, we work with you early to help prevent it. Along the way, we connect you to food support, community resources, employment help, and counselling.
We don’t just help you find a home. We help you build stability that lasts.
