At ASPIRE Counselling, we tend to attract clients of Arab, Kurdish, Persian, Afghan and South Asian heritage. Many of our clients are newcomers in Canada.

Consistent with the mission and vision of Muslim Food Bank and Community Services Society, the ASPIRE Counselling program is designed to be affordable for clients who do not have extended health plans and who can pay less than the industry standard.

We have dedicated funding for clients faced with homelessness, those who have arrived in Canada as refugees, and those with mental disabilities.

Clients who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, refugees, and children and youth with mental disabilities usually qualify for free counselling.

Most other clients pay $20–60 per session. Those who cannot afford may qualify for 5–6 free sessions.

Clients who have extended health plans pay $120 per session until their coverage is exhausted.
