Muharram is often referred to as “The Month of Allah”, a title given in Hadith, and no other month has been honored this way.
The Qur’an reminds us of the importance of the sacred month of Allah — Al-Muharram. It is a time for prayer, fasting, charity and reflection on values like faith, sacrifice and justice. Giving in charity is one of the easiest and most powerful ways to protect ourselves from trials.
“The most virtuous fasting after Ramadan is in Allah’s month of Al-Muharram.”

Muharram is a time of deep spiritual connection and remembrance. Common practices include:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
"Charity extinguishes sins just as water extinguishes fire."

"Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity."
