As we continue expanding across Canada, accessibility remains a core part of how we serve our communities.
We believe every individual has valuable skills, talents, and experiences to contribute.

Rather than focusing on limitations, we focus on creating opportunities for meaningful participation and personal growth.
Creating an inclusive community requires collaboration.
MFBCS proudly works with ESDC and MUHSEN to ensure accessibility for individuals with disabilities.
Together, we help participants become active members of the community by involving them in regular Muslim Food Bank activities, including food hamper packing, food distributions, and community events.
These partnerships foster confidence, social inclusion, and a stronger sense of belonging while demonstrating that everyone has something valuable to contribute.
At Muslim Food Bank Canada, inclusion means creating opportunities where everyone can succeed.
We are proud to have individuals with diverse abilities—including volunteers and team members with Down syndrome—actively contributing to our organization. Whether assisting with food hamper preparation, supporting community events, or welcoming visitors, they play an important role in strengthening our mission and enriching the communities we serve.
Their contributions remind us that an inclusive workplace and volunteer environment benefits everyone.
True accessibility goes beyond physical access.
It means creating an environment where every individual feels welcomed, respected, heard, and empowered to participate.
Through accessible facilities, personalized support, inclusive programming, and strong community partnerships, we are working to ensure that people with disabilities can fully engage in every aspect of community life.
