Are you ready to make a real difference in your community? The ASPIRE Community Caseworker Training offered by MFBCS equips you with practical tools, confidence and the skills to serve as a volunteer caseworker. It is a multi-month training and volunteer development program conducted by senior caseworkers and social workers. You'll gain the skills to support individuals and families facing housing, employment, poverty and settlement challenges. With this training, you’ll step into a meaningful role, confident in your ability to guide and empower others toward self‑reliance.

3 days of mandatory online theoretical training sessions
Volunteer training of 2 to 3 hours per week for at least 6 months
Awarded upon successful completion of all training requirements
The ASPIRE Caseworker Training Program is a multi-month training and volunteer development program conducted by senior caseworkers and social workers.
The program begins with 3 days of mandatory online theoretical training, delivered live through Zoom. This theoretical component includes approximately 13 hours of learning and introduces participants to the core knowledge, skills, and values needed to support community members with compassion, professionalism, confidentiality, and care.
After completing the 3-day theoretical training, participants move into the practical training phase. This practical component requires approximately 2 to 3 hours per week for at least 6 months, with flexible timing based on caseworker team needs and participant availability.
To receive certification as an ASPIRE Caseworker, participants must successfully complete both the theoretical and practical components of the program.
