Herat, Afghanistan Emergency Relief

A devastating earthquake occurred at 11 a.m. on October 7th, causing injuries to thousands and claiming the lives of over 2,000 individuals—a tragic death toll that is expected to increase in the coming days.

Numerous individuals remain unaccounted for, and ongoing rescue operations are diligently scouring the debris for those trapped beneath it. Over three districts, approximately 3,000 families have been affected.

The Muslim Food Bank is currently raising funds, to provide food support to the earthquake-affected families in need.
