Hunger does not wait, and neither do we. Through daily and weekly on-the-ground meal distributions, our teams and volunteers serve individuals in high-need areas, ensuring access to food during times of crisis, extreme weather, and ongoing vulnerability.

The Downtown Eastside is one of the most vulnerable neighborhoods in Canada, with high levels of homelessness, poverty, and food insecurity. Muslim Food Bank operates daily meal distributions in this area, ensuring individuals have access to warm, nourishing meals every single day.

In Regina, harsh winters make food insecurity even more dangerous. Muslim Food Bank conducts weekly meal distributions in the downtown core even during periods of extreme cold to support individuals experiencing homelessness and housing instability.
These distributions are not only about nutrition — they are about survival, warmth, and care.
