SHIFAA is a faith-based community support group that meets twice a week to support community members who are living with active addictions or are in recovery. SHIFAA is based on the belief that those of us living with addictions can recover and deserve culturally-relevant support.
This free, ongoing support group is facilitated by professionals and is open to anyone in recovery or living with active addictions (of any kind) and self-identifies as Muslim regardless of whether or not they have sought support elsewhere. Participants can share what they want with the group and can choose to remain anonymous.
